Rewards for good behaviour
Throat punch him.
What has your approach been so far? A friendly reminder might help? "Don't forget to take out the trash today"
I don't mind being reminded, I do mind being nagged for hours about it though
If you make his favourite dinner he has to do it =P
Rewards are better than nagging and punishment.
I just send mine this lol
Give him donuts if he does it. Give him donuts with laxatives if he doesn't
Take a deal with him to share the work of the house and do something else in exchange. Like the vacuum. And than remember him that he need to do his part...
I have fights like this with my girlfriend all the time. Honestly, I just like to-do lists and notes. But yeah, being rewarded even just with compliments or *cough* other things would be a major incentive. Like, I'm gonna get nagged wether I contribute or not so there's no incentive to chip in. Guys like to be recognized for their efforts, even if they should be basic things.
Clearly I am a relationship expert and know how to cater to the male ego. Take note ladies
He is also a serial putter backer of EMPTY juice/milk cartons in the fridge, so I said if he cleans it out I'll restock the entire kitchen with yummy food (he's a student) and he did it... after four months!!!
That's the same boyfriend who won't let you take that poor old cat from the shelter?
Darn, you really do need a better boyfriend!
