Last Thursday, June 1, a 14 year old girl, Savannah, disappeared from a small town in the Netherlands. On Friday her bicycle is found in another village, about 30 km to the south. That same day 14 year old girl, Romy, living about 50 km from Savannah, does not come home after school. Her body is found later that day in a ditch, about 20 km to the south. On Sunday hundreds of volunteers start a search for Savannah. In a completely different area a pedestrian finds Savannah's body in a ditch. Today, June 5, the police arrest a 16 year old boy on suspicion of involvement with Savannah's death, and a 14 year old boy on suspicion of involvement with Romy's death. My brain refuses to process this.
