That is definitely a thought lol Do these things just come to you at random?
No it's really a gift like how athletes in the olympics have special abilities to perform better than others at sports
Are we talking like, X-men mutants? lol
So I'm almost at level 5... Does it make a difference which team I choose? Or would it just depend on what gyms are around me?
It doesn't REALLY matter. You'll be able to find gyms to fight/help no matter your colour. My personal opinion - pick a gym the same colour as your friends. This makes it easier for you to go out as a team and take down other gyms. Especially because you're a low level you're gonna need the CP backup a group would provide. It's also just more fun with friends!
But if none of your friends play then I'd say decide whether you want to be taking over gyms or helping them. Taking over gains you more XP and is in my opinion easier because you get to face off with 6 Pokemon as opposed to 1 if you are just training. So if you would rather fight, then choose the colour that's not popular in your area. If you would rather train, then choose the colour that is popular.
Don't forget about the pokecoins you earn when you beat gyms and leave your pokemon to defend it! These can add up quickly and get you cool things like bag upgrades so you don't have to continually toss items
Also just saying, team Valor is the best
Ah yes! Those are very important things too! Taking down gyms is just the better option really!
And I have to throw my vote in that Instinct is where it's at.
I only got one friend who admits they play it... So I'll join his team
But what team is it???
Not a clue, he works in the building next to mine... Gotta run over and check! Lol
I'm waiting in anticipation
Team Yellow... Whatever one that is
Ahhh @-Toxxic;;* He's yours
@CJBarone if you vote in the poll at the beginning of the thread for team Instinct you might start overtaking my team
Yes! Great success, good choice.
I saw a Hitmonlee a couple blocks away and left the house to catch it. Did not catch it and am now a million degrees.
@Wrecky I feel your pain from earlier now. So hot.
Hey at least you tried! I caought a Hitmonchan behind Metrotown about 2 weeks ago. It's not very high CP though and it's the only one I've ever seen so it just sits there in the pokedex being useless
Hahaha poor Hitmonchan. Those types are purely just Pokedex fluffers.
I feel they need to broaden the common types found. I have given up on catching the common spawns because I'm so tired of them. Variety is the spice of life and whatnot.
@-Toxxic;;* Could not agree more! Maybe it's a good thing I trashed my phone and have to take a few days off, maybe when I get my new one there will have been an update that actually made something better!!
I was still catching all those dumb Zubats though, just to have more XP/stardust and more garbage 'mons to evolve when I use my lucky eggs
