Let's talk about Josh Homme and his many projects. I'm currently working my way through the desert sessions and all his early shit and finding rare gold nuggets.
I want to know what everyone's favorite QOTSA song is, or Kyuss, or EODM, or BE, or TCV.. clearly I'm a little obsessed :hungry:
Here is some great shit he's worked on.
    Arctic Monkeys

    Screaming Trees

    Gamma Ray

    Kyuss

    Mondo Generator

I've never been able to decide on my favourite album, but if someone put a gun to my head I would have to say Era Vulgaris.
I know @Rogue Boner would say Like Clockwork

Only once, and it was a religious experience for me. I was just a hits fan before that. Josh Homme changed my life lol

I missed the NIN boat too, but Marilyn Manson made up for it by being fucking terrible and making me pissed at the whole bunch of them.

Manson was good in the late 90s and even early 2000s but he is no NIN.

And I guess NIN is no QOTSA rofl

Manson is only good when he gives a fuck. Lucky me, the one time I got to see him he didn't have a single fuck to give. :(

Now that I've listened to it a few times on repeat I'm wondering why this wasn't 3 separate songs. Anybody else know what I mean?

I hate saying this, but I'm underwhelmed. I'm not mad at this song but it definitely doesn't wow me. :(

Bands flavor comes and goes, I dont blame them for tiring or burning out they made some EPIC tracks in the past decade.

EDIT: Lullabies to Paralyze still makes me cry tears of joy when I listen to it lmao

I'm trying not to judge until I've listened to the whole album, but so far it just doesn't make sense. First song feels like Them Crooked Vultures and the second one is more like EODM
