I got a lot of blogs in my life. And I posted a lot. But now it's all over.

I also tried to write a novel. But I wrote only like 3 pages.

I've started writing and promptly ditched more "books" than I can count.
But sometimes what I hate about one story works for a different one. :)

Books don't have to be smart :)
I used to write all kinds of stupid trash but found it's easier to draw from real (ish) life experiences.
Sometimes mundane BS can lead to the most interesting story.

Yeah it's a cool read, lots of swears and very contemporary. Easy to read.

I love books with profanity :D I think it makes the characters more believable if they drop some F bombs instead of something like, "He cursed under his breath" gag!

From what I've read, it was only good because it was a pretty good accomplishment for a writer that is pretty different from the actual main character to be able to capture how his main character is, functions, etc. so well. :) Not that it was a profound read. :)

@mcpon14 I guess that's why it's supposed to be a mandatory read in high school? Because of character depth or whatever.. lol glad my HS had no set reading list.

I like short stories about tragic love. I read a little bit of Shakespeare, Wilde, Greek tragedies and the oddball Karl May.

Oscar Wilde's The Fisherman and his Soul is very influential in shaping my taste.
