    Slow clap.

    There's a tonne of stuff I need to see, but this is pretty much how they'd break down in my mind.

    I watched La La Land last weekend. I don't get the hype. It's pleasant and fun, but it just didn't grab me.

    More like "Blah Blah Bland" :wtf:

    Not surprising given your taste. How fucking good is that movie?! There's that shot where Jeff Bridges has a blanket wrapped around himself and he's crossing through the empty motel parking lot and I was just like THIS MOVIE HAS ASCENDED TO ART.

    Yup. The relationship between the brothers and between the officers were both great, and the dialogue didn't feel scripted, it felt real. Same for the shootouts, didn't feel choreographed at all. Raw and intense. I found myself rooting for both Bridges and Pine, it was double protagonist to me. Understand why Pine was doing it, but Bridges was doing his job. Some of the Best cinematography of 2016.

    And the ending was just perfect.

    And the score/soundtrack were fantastic.

    I totally agree about the double protagonist thing which was executed really well.

    Be somebody. it was a mindless netflix movie about a Teen popstar, who sneaks off his tour bus in a small town and enjoys his freedom from overbearing mom-anager, when he misses the bus. He is taken in by a local arts student and you can guess the outcome

    @FlamesFanatic review?

    I watched "I Don't Feel At Home In This World Anymore" on Netflix. Worth a watch. Written and directed by Macon Blair, the star of Blue Ruin and Green Room and starring the incredibly underrated Melanie Lyndsey.
