I'll keep that in mind haha
@Wrecky maybe someday I'll make a creepy clown haha
You really know the way to my heart @J.Town
Thought you might like that!
So what does everyone else do for work?
I used to run a kitchen... then saw the servers going home with $150+ a night
Decided I can talk to people to if I was getting paid like that
Now Im a server and hated it since the day I started
Talking to people is the worst!
That last one is awesome! Your job sounds pretty fun and interesting. What would a puppet like that last one go for?
I'm a co-owner of a construction firm. I handle all of the building design and drafting of the blueprints.
I'm a car salesman. But only till the end of the week. Then I'll be unemployed and moving across the country.
To which side? West coast is better
East coast. Wife wants to move to Newfoundland. Be with her family.
Depends! In this case since it is already built and just sitting around, it wouldn't be anything crazy, maybe around 800 bucks. Doesn't have any internal mechs or anything like that.
But if you were to commission that ahead of time, like asking for something that looked just like that, it would be a lot more.
Internal mechs? Do you do all that internal work yourself? How complex does it get? This keeps sounding even more interesting.
More pictures of your puppets?
So internal mechs can be as simple as moving eyes or eyebrows or ears controlled by the puppeteer inside the puppet, or as complicated as remote controlled moving parts that are controlled by a second puppeteer.
And for the most part, I do it all myself
I am a CNC operator for steel cutting lasers for a big name farm equipment manufacturing company, metal as fuck all day long
