What I mean by observation is what 867k has defined as observation which is what your senses tell you, what others tell you (books, people you listen to, etc.) and what your assumptions are.

The problem with you is that you don't understand what science is or that your definition is skewed.

The problem with you is that you can't stand the fact that I do understand science and all too well, too, and that I've shown that it is just as faulty as religion. You can't get over that, for some reason.

And that you have to have faith that what you are told is true in science, just like with religion.

Math is the only thing that I can see as not being faulty but I don't know.

There is no "true" in science and thus science is not the same as religion.

Math is absolutely true because it is a language, it is not a representation of reality.

Science is the same as religion because both have givens and those givens are taken as "true," such as observations (your own and others).

That doesn't make it true. I just can't find any fault in it.

I already told you there is no "true" in science.

Math is true by the very definition.
It is true because it is defined as true.
    It is independent of reality.

@tool And unlike you, I showed why. You make baseless claims. I back mine up. That's the difference between me and you.

I always love to see the reaction from the science fans when it is pointed out to them that their worldview is faith-based...

Huh? Where is the evidence that there is "true" in science?
    Show me.

Just whatever scientists use a starting point.

    I'm even more confused now.
Why is an observation or data equals truth?
The starting point for every scientist is falsifiability which is incompatible with "true".
