What I'm getting at, reverend, is how come the Bible never mentions anything related to the future, crimes that are only found in the future?
So, because The Bible does not specifically forbid an activity, we are then free to indulge in it? We need to use the capacity for common sense given us by God. When God says remain sober, that means don't do anything that causes our sobriety to diminish. See how that works?
But cigarettes doesn't intoxicate us, so why is it forbidden if the Bible doesn't specifically forbid it?
