One of my favourite burgers, and the overwhelming slab of lettuce is definitely A&W’s biggest weakness.

My favourite burger from there is the Cheddar Bacon Uncle Burger - there used to be a location in Richmond close to the airport that didn’t charge extra for cheese and bacon for the Uncle, so I usually went to that location for my 11pm lunch when I was doing night shifts in Richmond. I’m not sure if that’s still true, because I haven’t been to that location in 7 or 8 years

One thing about their advertising that Albertans specifically should know is the no steroids or antibiotics claim is true of any restaurant that serves Alberta Chicken, Beef, or Pork, because Alberta law regarding cattle and livestock doesn’t allow producers to use those things (antibiotics are allowed, but only if the animal is sick, some places use antibiotics in their food source for all animals to prevent illness in the first place, but that practice isn’t allowed in Alberta. I’m not familiar with other parts of Canada, or the US, I’m sure some other areas have similar regulations)
