Idk at what exact time it happens but I guess. Although the embryo is growing before hand when the heart beat begins it’s undeniable that it’s alive.
If having the child will not cause any sort of harm to the woman's life, mentally or physically, I think the man's opinion should be considered, but I think it is ultimately the woman's choice regardless of the situation and that men need to stay the **** out of pro-life/pro choice debates.
It's interesting since, if we want to keep the baby but the woman doesn't she can abort, though if we don't want it and she does, she keeps it. It's in the womans control, unfair but she's the one pushing the thing out so.
I don't find that fair at all, and it's extremely sexist. Lets say a dude has a very slow sperm count and by a miracle it's his then she wants to abort. That could be his only chance to have a child, is it fair? I stand by it's a woman's body yet there are grey areas that need to be considered with some compassion.
Real talk tho. When I was 19/20 my boyfriend at the time knocked me up. My depression was at an all time low around that time and he knew that. He preyed on my emotions and manipulated me into getting one and two days later said "thanks for not ruining my life. bye" and stopped talking to me and left me alone to deal with it. So.. if it were to ever happen again I'd be hesitant, but if they were seriously concerned and taking the issue seriously then I'd hear them out. and before anyone asks, yes this douche seemed fucking normal up until then.
Yeah, you can’t necessarily trust anyone to take responsibility. I’ve heard of situations where guys do that, or they pressure the girl to actually keep it and then end up ghosting. In the end it will all fall onto the woman if the guy disappears, so it should be her choice only.
I'm pro-choice and most likely would have went that route anyways, but just the way it all happened fucked me up for a while. Just another life lesson I suppose!
But you guys, why not give the baby up for adoption instead of aborting it? Even if you get raped, that is still an option. You can leave them at any hospital or some churches with no questions asked.
