Seriously though, what's your drink of choice? Or your favourite brand? I like whiskey. Mostly Jim Beam, JD, Wild Turkey or my new fav for the last few years, Spicebox's pumpkin spice whiskey (because white girls like pumpkin spice everything) *This thread does not condone underage drinking or underage individuals pretending to be legal age to discuss or promote underage drinking*
Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey in a pinch Absolut Vodka + Sprite Bombay Sapphire Gin + Peach Juice Mellow stuff for now, I drink to relax.
I can't stand it when people are like "Fireball schmehhhh" because it's plentiful and cheap. It's awesome!
Agreed! So many people I know hate it because they overindulged when they were young and stupid and are sick of it now. My best friend particularly, is the reason I like it and she won't touch it these days :p
I stopped liking drinking many years ago, and only continue at very small doses at very calculated times to increase my chance of survival due to having insomnia problems. I'd rather mix my own vitamin based compound that was intoxicating if I really had the lab and the time
@Cib3rNaut I'm proud of your choice and all, but must you be such a buzz kill? When you do consume your small doses at calculated times, what do you usually prefer?
My favourite beer is Beau's Lugtread, but I'm not supposed to drink it on the count of my Crohn's. So I'm mostly drinking Okanagan Dry Cider this summer and come winter I'll be drinking hot toddies.
Mainly european or japanese wines and spirits, I find if the distillation of the alcohol is done properly for longer amounts of time and has less sugar or gluten than the experience is better. Beer isn't really a refined drink, except the more expensive imported brands I am talking like twenty dollars plus for a six pack. And there are not many hard beverages I have every enjoyed due to the beverage being like 40% basically rubbing alcohol inside of what they call a drink. Many people don't realize that there are many different types of alcohol compounds inside of what you find at the store and many of them have mixed traits from the distillation or brewing process. After starting to study aerospace technology, I started drinking less and less after realizing this fact.
I've never enjoyed drinking during the daytime or summer season, it makes me feel very grimey. If in anyway I have to sweat during drinking I wouldn't even consider having the smallest amount. Wintertime or after it gets dark is really the only option here.
I prefer to drink alcohol at night because I get dehydrated a little slower, but once in a while a good day drunk is fun, especially if started before noon at brunch
There are lots of variations on a hot toddy. Whiskey, hot water or tea, honey, and a dash of cayenne. It's a cold buster.
I see why I've never had one lol but I will remember that, I always get sick at least once every winter.
I've thought combining the opposing vitamins and minerals into a beer itself that are present during the lack of in the hangover phase would be pretty awesome. As you started normally recovering, instead it would just stop the hangover entirely. Up to a certain extent anyways
Isn't that what vitamin water does when hungover? Idk, I haven't been hungover in forever but I know there's a cure for it...
I like rum occasionally depending on my mood. Generally I'm a cider guy. Strongbow being my main drink
