I'll drink to that
I drink a shit ton of beer because everywhere in Vancouver has different craft beers
But liquor I usually go for whiskey/ginger
I'm sitting at work right now thinking one more day to get through before I can get crunk and dance all night. /Sigh
Beer. Favorite song as the original post asked: "The Soft Moon - Want"
Single malt scotch whisky is the only thing i resent. If i had to choose one favorite it would probably be jagermeister. Colorado bulldog or tokyo ice tea is currently my fav drinks. Music depends on my mood to be honest, i have a thing for electronic dance music for the time being.
Last night I got drunk on martinis and wine.
That bottle would be a perfect birthday gift for my dad
Now I don't look as trashy drinking straight from the bottle.
Am I the only one who has a hard time drinking alcohol? It just tastes so bad even expensive stuff is bad. I can only drink gin w/o gagging and it has to be smothered in ice and tonic
Youre supposed to drink Gin and Rum and Vodka with juice and pop lol, add some flavor to it dont just drink it straight ew
Is there something I can mix into wine to make it taste ok?
Yeah, are you trying to drink the hard liquor straight and expect it to be delicious?
On a hot day I like turning my wine into sangria. Maybe you simply need a lighter, fruitier, easier-to-drink wine? Try Relax Red or Bodacious Smooth Red.
Shandy's are also great, I mix together 3 bottles of Bud Light Lime, a cup of vodka and a can of frozen lemonade/limenade mix.
Caesar's are a great meal replacement.
I'm not a big beer drinker but I love mixing beer and Clamato at a 3:1 ratio.
Go-to bar drinks for me are cuba libre (spiced or dark rum, Cola & a good amount of fresh lime, over ice) or a Jager & OJ (Jagermeister & orange juice over ice).
I LOVE long island iced tea. I use the simple long island alcohol mix, added a good dose of lime cordial and lime juice and top off with Cola.
If you have vodka, rum or tequila and orange juice or pineapple juice, simply mix the two together and add a splash of grenadine.
I had a martini earlier:
I'd like to try a martini again, since it's been about 6 years, but I'm afraid I'll probably still hate it. I like Caesars but they gotta have lots of toppings. I had a canned Caesar when james had family here, and it was grosssss. All brown liquor I can't do no matter how much pop you add to it. The smell alone will make me feel sick.
I like making martinis for people that have never tried them before, knowing full well that they're most likely not going to finish it or like it at all. Yet I'm still a fool and use Hendrick's Gin and the good vodka... what a waste.
Those canned caesar drinks are so gross, haven't found one that even comes close to the real thing. The canned Chelada's (beer & Clam) aren't so bad though.
I want to love martinis because I LOVE olives, but maybe there's a none vodka drink out there that has an olive.
I'm not a fan of beer just because I hate bubbles in my drink unless I'm eating something like fast food or fish and chips.
You could try mulled wine.
A classic martini is gin, not vodka. I just like half and half as a personally preference, but your regular martini has no vodka in it.
