Or MUA's in the making? All my super skilled friends live far away and I miss getting my makeup done for their portfolios :kiss2:

I wish the job market for death care was so much better, I would have been in school long ago.

I would have found a job in van long ago. I don't drive and the only openings I've seen were sooo far away like bottom of Surrey and shit

There's some sort of hype in the funeral industry in the Netherlands at the moment; new companies popping up everywhere. As a result prices are going down (there's even a booming business for budget funerals) and a lot of companies are specialising; e.g. companies that specialise in Jewish, Islamic or Hindu rites. My favourite new development: Natural burial! The don't put you under a slab of stone next to someone you've never met, but in some natural environment.

This, believe it or not, is a grave:

    (wow, that escalated quickly!)

Cool! I'm not sure if green burials here are allowed to use random land like that, they still have to be in a cemetery. Idk I'm an embalmer so if it was green I wouldn't be involve in it anyways rofl.

It's not random land. We have 16 green cemeteries in the Netherlands, and more coming in the near future

Ohhh so they just keep the green cemetery natural looking too? I've only ever seen the well trimmed cemetery

The wooden disk in the last picture is a grave marker.
