A singular dodo bird has just been found in the island of Mauritius. The bird has supposedly been extinct for 300 years and is regarded as the poster boy for extinct animals. Well a woman flying a kite with her niece discovered the bird and being a bird enthusiast did not recognise the species. She took a photo of the bird and sent it to her friend who is a scientist. The scientist recognised this bird as a dodo and immediately thought he was being pranked.

After assuring her friend that he was not being pranked, a group of explorers were sent to the location where to their surprise they discovered a dodo bird. Experts are currently looking at the site in search of other dodo birds with the hope of finding a female so they can breed.

Animal activists have taken a stance against this, calling it inhumane creating the hashtag #freegarnett (the dodo bird is called Garnett) and is radically garnering support. A spokesperson for the RSPCA had this to say about the controversy: "Yo Adrian, where did you put my socks?"

I'll give you the updates as they come

Probably tbh. It wasn't that long ago that it went extinct, was it?

300 years, do you think there could be one out there on some abandoned island?

You never know! More likely tho I think there's some forgotten animals in large jungles. I always like looking up the latest discoveries of jungle animals.
