    So Henry VIII clauses are giving powers to the government over parliament when passing Brexit. Now everyone is crying because there's supposed to be "parliamentary sovereignty" and they want the Brexit repeal bill stopped because of it.

    I mean, I voted remain but get that shit out of here nobody actually cares about parliamentary sovereignty they're just trying to delay the repeal bill. Just pass the damn bill like what was voted for, I mean it's not like parliament is any better than the government; they're all a bunch of old, bald white men anyway what's the difference?

    This is the most political thing I've ever said lol

    I'm on the fence about Brexit, so I'll keep it simple:

    It's what Britain voted to do but;

    It is really stupid. And I hope it fails/is repealed but hey I'm not British so what do I know?

    :| My take.

    It really is stupid, most people voting did so because they thought it would stop immigration. Fucking morons.

    But yeah, there was a referendum. Got to go with the decision I think, even if the decision is stupid

    It's a bloody shame, we are all stronger together and not with even more separations in place. I always thought the EU was a pretty tight coalition. Now it really is just going to be representing Europe. Interesting.

    Great Britain is part of Europe, just not of the continent.

    The EU is divided as never before. Just see how Greece and Italy are struggling with the refugee problem, and countries like Hungary and Poland absolutely refuse to help. A tight coalition? Not anymore.

    Exactly. It's only going to be more lines dividing the continent.
