My problem is I don't know how to leave things alone to rise or chill...or I keep checking it too much while it's baking.
Never open the oven! Unless you actually think it's done and are pulling it out to toothpick test. Impatience gets you no where with baking
I'm always sitting on the floor in front of the oven cursing at cookies or rolls or whatever lol It's taken me years of burnt, flat, ugly treats but I've finally mastered waiting for things
@HeavenIsDark You could make 5 min microwave brownies to trick people into thinking you're good at stuff That's what I used to do. And frosting from a can
I just make brownies out of a box and buy a tub of ice cream so that we eat it all in one night. That way the next day I don't need to be reminded how much of a failure I am at baking brownies.
