Post interesting/weird facts about Canada itt
#1. Nanaimo bathtub races are a real thing
You’re more likely to be shot to death in the United States than you are to die in a car accident in Canada.
Is that true @sharkbait. ?
I found it on the internet so it must be.
What about dog sled accidents?
We don't joke about those here, too sad too serious. RIP
The further north you go, the more drugs you'll find.
Don't we eat the most macaroni out of every country? Lol
I hope so! That's noteworthy! Macaroni
When it comes to the consumption of boxed mac and cheese, or Kraft Dinner as it’s better known, Canadians eat a whopping 55 per cent more of it a year than Americans do. Out of the 7 million boxes sold weekly around the world, Canadians purchase 1.7 million of them. Former Prime Minister Paul Martin listed KD as his favourite food and Prime Minister Stephen Harper has admitted to cooking it for his children.
I remembered it from a Russian PowerPoint lol
We have lawnmower races here lol
I also remember when I was little, going to the lawnmower obstacle courses. Where the driver would be blind folded and given instructions through the course driving a lawn mower by his partner lol....
Ice oval races are a canadianish thing, I guess.
Quebec manufactures more than 77% of the world's maple syrup
We started a black market for maple syrup. There was also a heist as well for it.
Lol are a part of the actual maple syrup mafia? Because I was reading up on WHY Quebec manufacturers 77% of the world's maple syrup supply, and it's pretty fucked up.
I was going to give you my own personal (heavily biased) view but then I found a Vice article that says it better
Now for the biased part, Quebec is dumb and crooked. They control basically all the maple syrup in the world and don't let anyone else produce or sell it without going through the cartel aka The Federation of Quebec Maple Syrup Producers
What about maple syrup producers outside of Quebec?
Separate names with a comma.
