How much is yours and what does it cover?
No insurance, no car.
210 a month, full coverage and comprehensive, $2 million liability
You pay monthly? ICBC makes me pay anually
ICBC charged me monthly when I was there as well
That's weird, maybe they don't trust me
Maybe, I’m sure there are policies more based on age than anything else, you’re still young
Well that's rude of them
Very. I have a very strong dislike of ICBC, they’re mostly idiots
$4,500 a year because I live in Vancouver.
I use my car for business purposes, so that brings it up a bit. But I save a whooooole $8/year because I have an anti-theft device.
I saved like $14 a year when I got a car that has 4 doors instead of 2 I didn't even know that was a thing
My boyfriend lets me drive his car but I don't know if I'm covered by his insurance or not.
$35 a month (usd) for the basic minimum insurance the law requires.
$105 a month - The usual, no collision
That's insanely cheap, I'm so jealous
I know, thanks Geico.
My parents pay about €50 a month for full-risk insurance, but that’s with 80% no-claim discount. Does that exist in Canada too, a discount that increases if you don’t claim anything for several years!
Yeah, good break for no claims - or at-fault claims. They’re not allowed to raise rates if there’s a no fault claim like a hit and run or weather related claim (hail, flooding, etc) if they cover it
In BC I paid $4000 / year, now I pay $600
Separate names with a comma.
