Idk some people are dumb and watch horror in the day time because they're not invested in the vibe. I'm like, please scare me when I watch something new, and the only chance of that happening is by setting the mood. I'm so weird, I even leave my front door unlocked on horror nights so I have something real to be paranoid about
I never ever watch horror during the day. And leaving the door unlocked is just stupid, do you know how many people would be devastated if someone walked into your house and sawed your limbs off. Don’t be so selfish rick!
LOL I live in the suburbs dude... and it's not like I'm home alone, I just like the uncertainty of not feeling like, safe I guess I feel like I've become so desensitized to horror because I've been watching it since I was a kid and worked in the industry a bit... literally nothing scares me because I know it's fake and I've seen how it's made. So I need that added element of wondering if a real psyho is going to open my door and get me
If you want to take it up a notch, we can post your address and maybe someone (no names) might show up at your door. Just a thought!
That would be pretty stupid lol, inviting weirdos to come and kill me I don't have a death wish, I just like to be on edge.
Watched the first two episodes today. The main character is a dickhead, but I like the premise so far.
S1 right? It's been almost a year since I watched it and I don't remember it that well but I do remember thinking he was a huge douche
Yeah it was just 2 episodes then it moved onto a new series. The 2nd season is ok, but of the shows you've recommended this is my least favorite. I really wanted to enjoy a horror-based tv show and I haven't seen a good one since American Horror story. So sad :,(. The Magicians is great though. I wish they were in season 8 or some shit so I could binge watch it in two weeks.
I feel like a lot of people just don't get how well Channel Zero does horror, maybe only true horror fans do and I seem to be the only one here Imo No-end house is amazingly well done because it's got the creep factor. Literally nothing scares me anymore but I defs felt creeped out watching some of the scenes. Candle Cove was a bit meh to me, not enough horror aside from the tooth child.
The tooth child was at the very end of the series, though. I just wasn't surprised at all by season 2. I am a real horror fan(snobby), but it's just been really predictable. I have about 2 episodes left in it for it to wow me. I just thought it was weird how it wasn't centered around a tv tuning into channel zero for the 2nd season. I liked the premise of season 1 about channel zero, it was just way too short and I feel like it could have been the build up to something way bigger or at least translate into season 2.. huge boner kill.
Did you ever read the original creepy pasta's? That might be why you find it predictable because these are internet urban legends that have been around since we were teenagers. That might make me a little bit biased because I loved reading them when I was younger, but I think Channel Zero is just getting started and will probably get better and better
Can I be honest? I'm a life-long internet goer but I've never read creepypasta and I didn't even know it was a readable series, I just have been seeing it referenced for years. I guess I've been left to be surprised later? Idk. I'm going to read this creepypasta.
Really? Wow what did you do for fun when you were a teen The old horror forum on Nexopia had an email group where we'd send creepy pasta's back and forth.
I would go out with friends and smoke weed and stuff. On the internet, I would be playing my life away on canadian based internet flash games.
