The last judgment day is so everyone can see everyone else's reward. The wicked will then know why they have been excluded from heaven, and what kept them from entering. Then the wicked are judged according to their deeds, and cease to exist for all eternity. The only way someone can be saved is by believing in Christ Jesus. There is no other way. You cannot only belief half of what Jesus says, you must believe everything He says. He says He makes us free from sin, and it is shown that we become servants of righteousness. I can obey God, and keep His law, simply because I believe that Jesus Christ has given me that ability to do so. In harmony with my faith, Christ gives me the strength. There is nothing wrong with acquiring Godly wisdom. There is a problem with acquiring satanic wisdom. For example, wisdom in how to deceive people, wisdom in how to steal things, is not wisdom that is necessary for human beings to have. Wisdom on how to crush someone's heart, and how to bring them to the worst emotional pain you can, simply because you're angry with them, or because kids think it's okay to bully, is not wisdom that this race needed. We see what benefit this "wisdom" has done for us by looking at the state of our world here and now.

Hebrews 4:4-5 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. 5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. Hebrews 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. That word rest in Hebrews 4:9 is originally the greek word Sabbatismos, which means, a keeping Sabbath. Sunday is the 1st day of the week. It's the same day of rest that Christians were persecuted for keeping during the centuries. The keeping of Sunday as the day of rest, is actually what literal sun worshipers used to do, and still do to this day. As a matter of fact, God hates sun worship so much, His temple faced the west, and when His followers entered into it, their backs were towards the sun, which rises in the east. He considered it to be the worst abomination for the people to turn their backs to Him and worship the sun in the prophetic book of Ezekiel 8:15-16.

Actually real question, how does one go about believing in something all of a sudden if they.. don't believe it? I mean I'd like to believe in dragons and fairy tales too, because they're awesome.. but I can't make myself believe something I don't think is true. And if people are required to believe everything like you said... Sorry but I think you guys got a lot of fake followers. I'm certainly not an anomaly. #sinnersarewinners
I think the vast majority are indoctrinated as children, and then never really examine what they've been told to believe. It's probably pretty rare for people to begin believing something on faith as an adult, because their minds are more fully developed, and natural skepticism protects them. Most adult theists I know are pretty rational about everything except that one thing...it's really odd how that can happen.
If the only way to be saved is by believing in jesus crust, what happens to all the people who practice other religions? They don’t get to go to their heaven?
Correct...according to Christianity, a serial killer who accepts Jesus on his deathbed goes to heaven, while the atheist who spent their life helping others goes to hell.
When a person accepts Christ as their savior, they are said to be "born again." However, this usually happens when they are a child, and are immersed in an environment that pressures them to do so. They are taken to church as a child, and the members of the church work to push them into believing. At least that was my experience as a child. However, when I reached my early teens, I began to question everything, and what they were pushing just made no sense, I saw their god as an evil ficticious monster, and washed my hands of theism and never looked back.
No I know what they are.. I just don't understand how adults can change their minds so drastically. That's why I said Christianity has fake followers.. I don't believe they all truly believe. Also all the born-agains I've met have been adults.
Yes, adults converting to another religion is something I also find perplexing. I can see a defenseless child buying into it when they are being pushed by the adults around them to do so, but how an informed grown person in this age of information who isn't mentally deficient can look at something like Christianity and think to themselves, "Yes, that sounds good and makes sense" is really beyond me.
Well, my pastor said that we know that we are going to Heaven but we don't know about anybody else, so we don't assume.

The Bible is pretty clear on the issue...it has a lot to say about life after death, and it contradicts popular opinion. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Then in verse 36, Jesus goes on to say, "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them."
You don't need to...the Bible already spells it out pretty clearly that those of us who do not accept Jesus as their personal savior will be mercilessly tormented by fire and worms for eternity because we are an abomination before God without the blood of Christ to cleanse us.
I think that the Bible already tells us to take it with a grain of salt. I mean, it does this by having two creation stories and with such inconsistencies as Cain having a wife.
I mean, if you want to take the Bible literally, then the Abrahamic religions are just offshoots of the religion of Melchizedek.
So, we can pick and choose from the "inspired word of God" which parts we like and wish to follow and which parts to cast aside? Were some parts more inspired than others? I would need a grain of salt the size of the Moon to take all the horrors and amoral messages in the Bible.
