There are not that many per day, so it should be doable to go through them all and delete the ones that are spam
Yeah it's actually really hard to keep on top of. I've asked @SadikB if there's a way to automatically delete blogs when a user is marked as spam (like it deletes their threads) and apparently it's not possible. Shrug emoji.
Well, if a user is marked as spam, but it's impossible to automatically delete their blogs, couldn't their blogs just be hidden from this page? http://forums.nexopia.com/blogs/ Not sure what happened there, but it looks like someone has been busy getting rid of all the spam
@Mark CM do you notice sometimes the blogs are cleaned out and then later all the spam blogs are back? Not sure if regular users can see that but it's weird. The accounts are dead but it goes back and forth..
@Wrecky no, I haven't noticed that. Is it same usernames? I honestly think it's just new spam replacing the old spam. It's never-ending. But I wouldn't be surprised. The blog set-up is a mess.
@Mark CM No it's definitely the same ones. It's after the spam gets deleted the blogs are all clear, and then the next day the deleted blogs are visible again with the usernames still crossed out. I'll take a screenshot next time I see it.
I just do spam cleanup, I assumed you were going around deleting them when you got a chance, but then when they show up again I'm like wtf is going on. Would you like me to also delete? I'm happy to save you the trouble.
I usually do a couple days of deleting and then clear the blogs all at once because it's faster that way. I've asked and asked for blogs by users marked as spam to be automatically deleted but apparently it's not doable which is BULLSHIT.
But, you know, whatever makes @Karlijn happy. Somebody's actually using the blogs now so I'll try to stay on top of it more.
