Did anyone else get a strong urge to garden once they got older?

Ever since my mid twenties I've had that strong need to nurture something, but I hate human babies

 

It didn't hit me until I was 25, then plants were all I could think about. I would see baby plants on Instagram and just melt

 

I wouldn't say I hate human babies, but I don't want one myself. Kittens or puppies on the other hand...❤️

 

Omg... I have this so hard lol wrecky get a hen and chicks succulent. Babies everywhere. I saw my first one in Alcatraz and since I've been totally obsessed

 

I had a herb garden in summer 2016, this year I grew apple trees from seed

 

I should take pics of my succulents some day

 

Awe yeah I like plants too, just gotta water em and theyre happy its so kawaii ^___^

 

Don't forget the sun!! I have crappy north facing windows atm and it SUCKS

 

Or get one of those special growth lightbulbs that keep em happy, those work too!

 

I have two of those but they're so ugly

I was very much into plants and gardening all throughout my 20's, but I've grown weary of it the past few years. I think it's because our new house doesn't have any windows facing south to put plants and there's no chance for a garden because the trees keep it in shade all day. Now I focus on the yard landscaping instead.

 

I actually have a few succulents that seem to be doing ok in my North window but my best window plants atm are my Christmas cacti. They're tiny babies atm tho because I couldn't bring my whole plants with me to Vancouver so I just took some leaves off of everything
