Do you add anything to your grilled cheese?

    Mr Wrecky likes a sunny side up egg in the middle of his grilled cheese, I like mine plain next to a bowl of tomato basil soup :hungry:

    Here's my typical grilled cheese - homemade bread to start with... tomato slices centered with cheese slices on either side, and then lots of pure real Greek oregano, salt, and pepper :) grilled_cheese_tomato_greek_oregano.jpg

    I like to put bacon and oinon in the sandwich and grill it with garlic butter.

    Plain grilled cheese is boring for me now... I really love it with tomato... and real Greek oregano - not the stuff we buy in the grocery stores! Needs that big bold taste that only Greek oregano has!

    Leftover mash potato reheat and then throw in cheese curds let it all melt and marry , add some green onion cracked black pepper or white then slap on two slices of buttered sourdough in to a pan I like to salt and pepper the bread add your cheesy mash goodness and let it crisp up...Mmmmm

    or sauteed onions
    or just anything grilled in cheese is good guys

    I prefer dipping in tomato soup vs. using ketchup, I avoid ketchup most of the time - although I enjoy it on basic burgers
