Is it legal at 15? I think it’s 16 most places

I got a letter from ICBC a few months ago because they want me to take my class 5 so I can get rid of my N. And my insurance dropped because I'm a safe driver

Did I explain all this months ago? The graduated licencing program? You get your license in stages.
L is learner which means you can't drive alone or after midnight and some other stuff.
N is novice (class 7) which means you're allowed to drive alone but have passenger restrictions
Class 5 means you completed the program and don't need to have your L or N sticker in the window anymore, and no more restrictions.
After that you can get commercial vehicle, motorcycle or boating licenses if you want

It’s so much simpler here. You have to pass your theoretical exam, and then your driving test. When you have passed both, you get your license and that’s it.

The only special rules for new drivers is that the maximum amount of alcohol in your blood is even lower, and there is a penalty point system the first 5 years after passing the exam.

Ours used to be like that years ago, the GLP was created in response to most accidents being caused by young drivers.
Now they make it really hard, you need a minimum of 1 year with L, then it's either 2 years or 1.5 if you take classes with the N before you're even allowed to take the class 5 test.
So if you start on your 16th birthday and do everything perfectly you can have your full license when you're 18 and a half.

I've never understood how people can live without a drivers license. Mainly because I drive so much that I practically live in my car. If you can live without it though, I'm sure life is a lot less expensive.

I’m too scared to learn to drive, but I rarely wish I could. The only thing recently is with Cola, since I got her from a shelter in a different city it woulda been a lot cheaper to drive lol

Public transportation is pretty good where I live. It gets harder when I need or want to go to another city.
