This dude was a major rookie.
I’m still a little confused about crypto currency. I should look into it I guess, but it comes across as creating money from nothing.
Which strikes me as potentially worthless long term - lots of potential to make money via mining, lots of potential to lose as much investing
Isn’t that what banks have been doing for ages?
I don’t trust crypto money either, but that’s mostly because there’s no supervisor or anything.
True, most money is based on nothing. Until recently it was issued as a paper representation of physical assets owned by a national bank, but those days are long gone.
Money is a medium of exchange for a capitalistic system. Currency values fluctuate based on the markets perception of the economic growth prospects of each individual country, or economic area IE. Euro Zone. Currency is backed by the governments ability to pay back debtors based on GDP growth etc.
Banks are banks lol crypto clown assets aren't backed by anything trust me I watch CNBC and I just wrote the CFA level 3 Exam. go to www.questrade.com or open a brokerage account if you want. I trust JP Morgan Chase like 10000x more then any bullshit token offering nonsense. Royal Bank Good. TD Good. CIBC is a short from me.
Random advice to people interested in markets:
Go to the Canadian Securities Institute and write the CSC.
glad you don't trust crypto it is insane. Guys dumped their whole house for this jokes ass billion dollar+++++ bubble.
Watching "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" again.
yeah I'm done considering crypto currencies
If you want to get into crypto, mine it and sell it - anyone who invests money in crypto?
