I'm so confident all of this will happen, that I'm recording the information now just in case people don't believe me when I say I predicted everything right in April. Western: Round 1: Warriors 4 v 0 Clippers Rockets 4 v 1 Pelicans Spurs 4 v 3 Nuggets Timberwolves 3 v 4 Thunder Conference Semis: Warriors 4 v 2 Thunder Rockets 4 v 1 Spurs Conference Finals: Warriors 4 v 3 Rockets Eastern: Round 1: Celtics 4 v 2 Pacers Cavaliers 4 v 1 Bucks Raptors 3 v 4 76ers Heat 4 v 3 Wizards Conference Semis: Celtics 1 v 4 Heat Cavaliers 4 v 3 76ers Conference Finals: Cavaliers 2 v 4 Heat NBA Finals: Warriors 4 v 0 Heat MVP: James Harden Finals MVP: Stephen Curry Defensive Player of the Year: Kevin Durant Most Improved Player: Victor Oladipo 6th Man of the Year: Lou Williams Rookie of the Year: Ben Simmons
Clippers play in the same stadium, you could support them. The Boston Celtics are the closest team to the UK, I should start supporting them lol
Los Angeles Clippers. They used to be called the Los Angeles Braves but they held a vote and changed it to the Clippers due to the great sailing ships that passed through San Diego Bay. I got that description of google, I have no idea what clippers have to do with ships lol
your east prediction is all fucked up. allow me to explain. Raps will most likely retain number 1 seed followed by boston, followed by Cavs. My reasoning is based on 2 factors. 1. Remaining strength of schedules 2. Travel Time. Strength of Schedule Cavs have 8 games left vs the western conference. they currently have a 7-6 record against the west. more importantly, a 1-4 record on the road so its safe to assume they have a few more L's in their future. Boston has 11 road games remaining vs the west including brutal 4 games in 6 nights stretch vs Houston and minnisota, and they also still have to visit golden state. Raps have merely 1 road game vs the west left. We've only lost at home like 2 or 3 times. For perspective, consider Raps are 3 games back from the 1 seed while Cavs are 7 games back. Travel Time Raps not only have the least amount of West road games left, they also have the least amount of road games left, in general (compared to Boston and Cleveland). In other words, the team with the best home record (14-2) and best conference record (17-5), has a second-half schedule filled with games in both.
oh also.. in the west dont sleep on the timberwolves. i think they can take OKC in a 5 game or even 7 game series
Why did I not get notifications for this? Moooods To be honest, I didn't look into the schedule at all. Raptors could get 1st tbh, but they'll choke in the playoffs as always lol. Timberwolves v Thunder would be a great series. By playoffs, I think the chemistry problems (or whatever the problem with the Thunder is) will go though.
Update: I fucked up. My predictions for the West were: 1st- Warriors (2nd) 2nd- Rockets (1st) 3rd- Spurs (7th) 4th- Timberwolves (8th) 5th- Thunder (4th) 6th- Nuggets (9th) 7th- Pelicans (6th) 8th- Clippers (10th) East: 1st- Celtics (2nd) 2nd- Cavs (4th) 3rd- Raps (1st) 4th- Heat (6th) 5th- Wizards (8th) 6th- 76ers (3rd) 7th- Bucks (I GOT IT RIGHT!! MIKE NOSTRADAMUS CONLEY) 8th- Pacers (5th) So, I got the orders all fucked up except for the Bucks. But I predicted who would actually be in the playoffs for the East exactly right and I only got 2 wrong for the West. But there's no way I could have predicted that crazy Jazz run. The only thing I really fucked up with is saying the Trailblazers wouldn't make it But... I'll get Harden MVP right. Curry could get finals mvp, Oladipo will get most improved, Lou Will get 6th man and Ben Simmons will get ROY. Heat won't make the finals though lol
Predictions for the playoffs now that we know what the rankings are? Here's mine. East: Round1- Toronto (4-2) Washington Cleveland (4-2) Indiana Philadelphia (4-1) Miami Boston (3-4) Milwaukee Round2- Toronto (4-3) Cleveland... Toronto plays well at home. Got to give them the benefit of the doubt. Philadelphia (4-3) Milwaukee East Conference Finals- Toronto (4-3) Philadelphia West: Round1- Houston (4-1) Minnesota OKC (3-4) Utah Portland (4-3) New Orleans Golden State (4-2) San Antonio Round2- Houston (4-2) Utah Golden State (4-2) Portland West Conference Finals- Golden State (4-3) Houston... GS should be healthy by this point and will have no problem vs Houston FINALS!!!! Toronto (4-3) Golden State I know this is a long shot. But I'm rolling with my boys. If they can make it this far, they have a shot. Both times they played GS this season was a tight game. With home court advantage vs GS, they may be able to pull it off. Only time will tell.
Here's what I sent my brother earlier. We had exactly the same predictions except for your Toronto bias lol. East: Raptors 4 v 0 Wizards Celtics 2 v 4 Bucks (there's gotta be 1 upset, no Irving) 76ers 4 v 1 Heat Cavs 4 v 3 Pacers Raptors 4 v 2 Cavs (but I'm gonna feel stupid if Lebron proves me wrong yet again) Bucks 2 v 4 76ers Raptors 3 v 4 76ers (trust the process) West: Rockets 4 v 2 Timberwolves GSW 4 v 1 Spurs Portland 4 v 0 Pelicans Okc 3 v 4 Jazz Rockets 4 v 2 Jazz Gsw 4 v 1 Portland Gsw 4 v 3 Rockets Finals: Gsw 4 v 2 76ers
I hear ya. But I got to roll with my boys. They have proven that they can do it. I got to give them the benefit of the doubt until proven wrong. Can't wait for this weekend
I'm already nervous abotu that washington series tbh. they can be pesky af. i dont think miami can even handle jakob poertl
im regards to philly - no embiid, no problem. i guess my foremost thought concerning us is if we're gonna be thought of true champions we need to start sweeping teams in the playoffs. this is gonna be wild
