@Wrecky I didn't ask if anybody "cool" had been to the Rec Room. Looking for ANYBODY who's been. You guys are no help. Where's my YEG Nexopian's at?
Sorry, I wasn't really trying to help. Maybe if you bring back the location forums it will draw in some Edmontoners. :p
You're expecting too much from our shy users. You need to woo them a little first, give them a comfortable place to hang out before they dive in. I think it's time for location forums
Mark CM, Ain't nobody gonna travel to cow town to dance with you in a dark room. Well maybe Wrecky if you bride her with enough potent liquid.
The Calgary one won't be opening until around April, assuming there are no further delays. But there have been two delays already lol
Yeah, not surprising with a huge project like that. The music venue where I used to work did a massive 6-digit renovation when I was there and construction ended up being 3 months behind schedule.
Very much like a Dave & Busters. But the one in Edmonton has a stage for live music. Toronto is getting one and I just wanted to know if anybody's been and what the vibe is like.
It didn't work on myself when some femme fatale tried that on myself, Although it might work on Wrecky if you add enough Jagermeister
The only good things about Dave & Busters (at least, the one I've been to) was the price of the draft, the fact that they had Yeungling on tap, and the proximity to the hotel where I was staying in Jacksonville.
I think I have a better shot with @Wrecky Also, Four Horsemen is my go to shooter when you need it to pack a punch. (For those who do not know it, it's a four-way mix of the four J's: - Johnny (Walker) - Jim (Beam) - Jack (Daniels) - Jose (Cuervo) Smells like tequila, tastes like bourbon, hits like a freight train.
I doubt I could ever afford the stockpile of liquor in that combination to justify making that particular substance. Unless I was accepted as one of the real Four Horsemen, Wizard styles.
