Seriously, you're all just lurking and no one is posting. How awkward.
I'm only making this thread because the forums list told me it's sick and tired of being refreshed every 5 seconds when we all know there are no new posts

Didn't say I was bored, I was just calling out lurkers, but passive agressively.. trying to get some shy people to come out of the woodwork.

Someone's gotta get the ball rolling. If the forums pick up Nexopia will come back to life, at least my threads (for the most part) are pretty popular

I'd rather condense the forum into less users, there are too many threads to read already. Lets not over excite everyone.

 

Nexopia will never come back to life.

Facebook took over the social media, in a way that killed everything thing else. It's why nobody has used Myspace since mid-2000's.

I used to use this back in 2007, when this site was active, and everyone else was adding their friends. It was a way for people who wanted to show off their individuality among their peers, and, make a statement.

So far, what I've seen since coming back (from being Permanently banned); is, the community is dead, and it's currently a few remaining members who have a spark of hope of its revival, or a nostalgic attachment to this. All of the friends I had, haven't logged into their profiles in nearly 9 years.

This is my first post, because back in those days it was mainly conversation between profiles; and, forums in this era are a dying breed.

I have to disagree with you @*XHellionX* I'm a posting member of a few other forums of a similar format that are thriving. Facebook did kill Nexopia but the real problem is that the users got older and uninterested, along with site changes that turned people off.
The idea behind new Nexopia is to restore what made it special. The forums are the first thing being restored, hopefully profiles will be next because currently they are lame :p

Nexopia stopped being popular because of all the teen pregnancies and overdoses it created, It is the scourge of the internet itself. Unlike Facebook which has a very clean persona

 

The whole point of forums is to post and interact with other people, yes?
So I'm posting, hoping to get people to start interacting.
No one ever wants to be the first one at the party so I'm obnoxiously breaking the ice so others feel more comfortable stepping in. I already see it working, so I don't know what your issue is.
If you don't like seeing all my posts it's pretty easy to either put me on ignore, or simply stop visiting the site.

At least I make discussions happen rather than shouting nonsense or stepping in only to retort to things I'm not interested in

 

I like being the only one at parties, and I would rather not talk with anyone. I find it more anti social that way.
