My new house literally has windows everywhere with tons of light. All the window frames are large so I can fit plants on them. I came with 3 plants (vine plants) but now I'd like to aquire more. What's your favourite house plants?

One of my favourite small plants is peyote. They require full sun but they’re so pretty, no spikes and have nice white/pink flowers on top.

My other favourite cacti are opuntias and mammillarias because they’re easy to grow. Some opuntias are Native to Canada so you can grow them outside and then pick off some nice pads to bring indoors.

For succulents I love aloe and echeverias the most but I have too many to name. When they get really tall I pick off all the bottom leaves to propagate and then put them in little vases so they look like flowers.

Oh and I almost forgot holiday cacti. I love those because they can get so bushy and you can cross pollinate the flowers to make your own colours.

Poinsettia flowers. Fern type plants that don't need to be watered much.

Anything that is not a fake plant.

ps. don't bring tropical plants over int'l borders.. check out the worms in france
