File Structure.... Music Snob and D.J Input Appreciated

    So.... this has been a delema for me for awhile, starting point is i like to have electronic and contemporary bands separated. and then by genre for electronic and by artist for bands. But im at the point where i have so many genres and sub genres its a mess.

    any advice? ideas?

    like..... 30 sub genres for psybient is getting insane.

    I hate having my music organized by genre for this reason, the sub genre crossovers are out of control :iik:
    I keep mine alphabetically or themed playlists by the general vibe :gjob:

    I like they way it’s organized in Apple Music, click a genre and you get everything in that genre only.

    And plex has spoiled me, don’t have to organize anything, it just makes a list of what you have and organizes it for you. My tv and movie folders used to be meticulously curated, now they’re a huge mess because it doesn’t matter where I sort things, everything is perfectly organized in the program. But I know it’s a disaster on my computer so it still bugs me a little
