I'm pretty sure I fight in my sleep if ive been drinking
I’ve woken up sweaty, scared and confused.
Also had weird recurring dreams when I was a kid, vivid and frequently enough I can still remember parts of them
i hate it when i scream so loud in my sleep it wakes me up. talk about fear of the unknown specially when i cant remember what it is i was even dreaming
Apparently with night terrors you don't necessarily have to be dreaming about anything. Your brain is just going through intense physiological fear responses without any real stimulus. If you do dream, your brain is constructing a story in an attempt to explain those feelings, instead of the other way around.
This explains why a dream about blowjob feels very real.
i get them almost nightly, but every now and then i won't get them for 2, 3 weeks
i wake up yelling a lot
You wake up every morning in mid-yell?
not morning, 45 mins to an hour after falling asleep, then i'm good for the rest of the night
So you wake up mid-yell?
I bit my fiance once while I was sleeping when I went to bed drunk
I wish mine were like that! lol
Another time, my ex was woken up to me writhing around in bed kind of crying or something. He asked what was wrong, and apparently I started making some creepy groaning noise. He likened it to the girl in the grudge. Then I slowly sat upright with my arms at my sides, and kept whispering ‘there’s something in here with us’ over and over, then demanded he turn on the light. Then I fell backwards and was out immediately. People can be really fucking weird when they’re sleeping lol.
Not night terrors but I had severe bouts of sleep paralysis when I was 18-21
If I was your ex I would have been terrified. Honestly, that sounds so scary!
Sleep paralysis sounds so freakin' bad. I can't even imagine
It was horrible but when it happens so frequently, you learn to cope. I'd figure out a way to calm my mind. I'd focus on one toe and just tell myself to move it, over and over. I also would just remind myself that it will be over and things I see are just hallucinations. I didn't hallucinate a ton, but I did. The worst was hallucinating my uncle in my bed trying to molest me lol which is just creepy as hell. I could hear my aunt and the tv that was actually happening in real life but couldn't make a sound. Sleep paralysis is whacky. Haven't had it years. I learned to not sleep on my back because that's when it would happen.
I have sleep paralysis on the regular
pretty sure its normal to have that
