Nowhere has good candy sales anymore. It’s like 10% off and everyone buys it within 48 hours after Halloween

Maybe you should ask your anaesthesiologist if epidural administration is an option. I’ve never had it (not possible) but my father did, and he said he would choose that again if possible

When you are giving birth in the hospital, epidurals are your best friend, lol.

According to my dad, the trick is to relax your back completely. If you can do that, then you hardly feel anything

Had my inguinal hernia repaired two years ago. I was wide awake during the entire operation and actually talked to the surgeon and her assistant. If you know the surgery will be carried out under local anesthesia, my advice is to direct your thoughts to something unrelated to the current experience.

The last time I went in for surgery, it was to clean up my airways after I fractured my nose. There was this amateur nurse who put the needle for anesthesia in the wrong vein. Needless to say, it wasn't a fun experience.

I once had a procedure done on local anaesthetic and I could not shift my mind to a happy place at all lol. The nurse eventually had to treat me like a dog and put a cloth over my eyes to try to calm me down :shifty:

Basically, a **** ton of blood was coming out of my arm and there was a good sized little pool all on my nice double-sided anime shirt I had on. The shirt looks like this. The blood stains washed out thankfully.
