It seems like everyone has been calling me skinny recently. So, I check out my BMI and apparently I'm "dangerously underweight" even though I rounded up my weight to the nearest stone lol.

Then, I realise that I slept past breakfast and lunch only eating dinner today, which was a pizza. Well obviously I won't gain weight with that diet, you're all fat North Americans though so you should be able to help me gain weight.

So, can someone give meal suggestions? I don't know what to buy, has to be something from Tesco maybe Iceland. Just spam me a shit load of different meals, cause all I can come up with is chicken and pasta. (don't give me something hard to cook)

I'll post what I ate at the end of the week. Tell me if that's enough calories.

When I went into the Navy, I was 3 inches shorter than you and about 6 lbs. heavier, and they told me if I had been 3 lbs. lighter they would have rejected me. I always ate more than my friends, but I didn't really start gaining weight until my mid-30s. Now I weigh about 14.3 st.

Ooh, why haven't I heard your Navy stories before?

Yeah, I want to join the army in a few years so I've got to be a good weight for that. Hard to imagine me reaching the 10 stone mark though

I’m the same. Or was the same. “Dangerously” underweight until I hit mid 20s. Idk what to eat, I’m having a block of cheese for dinner.

    You never asked. :)

I would suggest seeking professional help for weight gain. A dietician should be able to tailor a program to fit your specific needs. If that's not feasible, then an exercise regimen and lots of carbs/protein would be what I would recommend, but I can tell you that didn't work for me. I got in much better shape, but I really only put on about 10 lbs.

I'm in waaay better shape than last year, but I've lost weight. I just trick girls into thinking my ribs are abs.

    How much do dieticians cost?

I really have no idea about the cost of a dietician.

It was somewhat satisfying when after I gained weight, I noticed when I opened doors, the doors came to me rather than me being pulled to the door. :)

What kind of work out are you on? Because when I was a tiny guy(still tiny but gained muscle eventually) I had to stop doing so much cardio and increased my weight lifting. Also I’d do push ups like crazy. But I also began carb loading and drinking shakes.

I use to eat blocks of cheese, too, for meals. My choice was jalapeno or pepper jack. :hungry:

I like pizza mozzarella, but I don't eat the whole block at a time just a slice here and there to curb cravings :D

I don't really have a plan. I go 4/5 times a week. 1 chest day, 1 leg day (squats suck for lanky people), 1 all the other shit day. I just alternate between these.

Tbh I don't even know what carbs are, pasta is my guess.

Slices of cheese is good but then you can't just leave them out because the oil separates from them. :(

Carbs is short for carbohydrates, and there are simple and complex carbs, such as sugars and starches. Pasta is starchy, as is rice, potatoes, etc.
