I would like to hear everyone's thoughts on good old "Crooked Hillary" Maybe even start some debates. I'll be the first one to sling some mud by calling her an anti-feminist, a slut-shamer and total mean girl! And that's just the surface shit before you even look up what she's been up to. Agree? Disagree? Come talk about it!
I was going to start off with a Trump thread but I've heard all the opinions I think there are on him. Boring! Plus most aren't exactly fact based. It's too easy to find dirt on Hillary because I just don't think she's all that careful about hiding things.
I find the US elections fascinating. It really feels like an entertainment show. The trouble is when the show is over, the winner gets to decide the fate of the world... not so funny then. Between Trump and Hillary, I think people should vote for Trump. With Hillary you are going to get the same policies which have so destabilized the entire world. With Trump, you know he is going to negotiate everything. It really is having to choose between two very undesirable options. But I feel Hillary is going to win, because she has the media on her side.
Come on, look at the news headlines in last two weeks in all major US media channels / newspapers. The media keeps saying a> Trump is the worst person since Hitler and b> Hillary is winning everything. I know neither of those statements are true, but given that's what they are selling since the conventions, and this is the theme which will go on till November, I fear it's gonna become a self fulfilling prophecy.
But @djfly this is a safe place, all opinions are welcome! I thought you loved a good debate? At least cast your vote for who you think the next US president will be before you leave! Or feel free to post a thread about CANADIAN politics

I really don't want to get into this because bashing Hillary is super counter-productive to my overall image of society. So I'll just say this: it's the failures of the Clintons of the world, the DNC, and US politics in general that have created an environment where voting for Trump seems like a sensible choice. He is a bad man and will do bad things.

I really don't understand what Brexit has to do with anything. Britain voted to leave the away for many reasons. Immigration was only one small reason out of hundreds.
I'm for HIlary and question the little negative press that she's recieved. What kind of scandals was she involved with the State Deptartment save for run-of-the-mill functionality? Trump is a raving lunatic while Hilary represents the moderate left currently being Captained by Obama, who has brought sweeping positive reform to the US. So how is Hilary a bad thing save for maybe that she doesn't promise transparency(when has the US truly ever)? Status quo ladies and germs....
Isn't almost everything in the media related to the US election very biased to each side until like 30 minutes before the voting polls are announced. Before that it is all just a sponsored Sitcom of issues, taking place that really already prejudged the entire election by means of who has paid the highest amount in the shadow government to make the new President Actor Elect take their stage. Not that there are any problems with this system, it's just like watching a reality show re-run year after year and expecting a different ending. The entire placement of all media is timed and coordinated to mis-intrude each citizen's TV time and collude with different votes going to such and such. Everyone knows the USA is run by a higher power the Election of Trump VS Hilary is only different this year due to billions of dollars worth of backing by Trumps elite investors and backing of his previous successful businesses. Seriously vote Bruce Wayne for President the winner will still be robotically decided by all outcomes of the 4 - 8 years they are in power. It's just math people just simple math.
