House renos. You would be surprised how much of a workout it is taking out old flooring, bathtubs and everything else. Lots of heavy lifting. Back at it tonight.
Demolition is so much work. If I had cash to put it all back together I’d strip this house to the frame and completely rebuild it. I’d be mad buff when it was finished
Thats pretty well what the wife and I are doing with our basement. It has a very outdated basement apartment that needs a shit ton of work. Everything is being gutted and started over.
Yeah, the house I live in, the wiring and plumbing are a nightmare, the cold spots are annoying and the basement reno was shit, the only thing I’d save is the cherry hardwood in the living room. Completely gut the whole house and make the main floor open concept. I don’t own it, but I’d buy it in a second if I had the cash just for the location... but it wouldn’t look anything like it does lol
We have birch hardwood throughout the main floor and upstairs. Just pulled up all the carpet last night. Going to sand it down and stain it again. Its going to look amazing. Can't wait to have everything done. Should be completed in a few months.
