I didn't like the way my boss was treating some of our customers, so I wrote a note about how I will only be there for two more weeks and handed it to her on my way in one day. I never know how to quit a job, it makes me so uncomfortable :iik:

I've only quit one job and I did it over the phone, lol. :) I've been fired from 2, though, although the first one was kind of iffy. I went to the boss and asked for my new schedule and she told me that she hadn't come up with it yet and then I went again a couple of days later and she still said that she hadn't come up with it yet and then I came in around a week later and she said that she still hadn't come up with, so I just didn't come back, lol. :)

I was unable to sleep at night because of the guy over me in my apartment and I've been force to leave the job because I was too tired.

    Slave tales.

Quittin's easy, you just pull the manager aside whenever you get a moment and be like, "I really dont think this is going to work out..."
Wow that's incredibly fucking rude of them. I've always been let go appropriately, although once they probably shouldn't have fired me because when I was fired it was for depression and prior to that I had been a good worker who showed promise. Long story lol

No you don't, **** them. Find something better

When people mistreat you, they deserve as much consideration as they gave you.

Just after Christmas I plan to send a long winded email outlining all my displeasures over the past year to my supervisor and manager, but also the hse coordinator and owner of the company.

I think that’s a good idea, the long winded part. I always left short notes and didn’t really tell them what I didn’t like about working for them, and I think if I had I woulda gotten over it faster. I’m still mad about the way my last boss treated our customers and I should have said something to that racist ho :steaming:

Told them I accepted a job 8 hours away, and then proceeded to tear my ATFL and got put on medical leave for the remainder of my time there. Lol

It wasn’t my last job but at one point I was working for fucking subway and the lady who owned the specific location was a total yuppie

    Anyways she’s was a total B
When I did decide to quit I was the only one who showed up to work... when I left let’s just say there was jalapeños and mayonnaise all over the floor leading out the door

I called mid mental breakdown, while drinking beer and sitting on my floor and said I wasn't coming back. I had a rough year hahah. I was making $30 an hour too, ****. It's cool though, it led to much better things anyways.

i worked for a home care agency for as long as i could handle it during school, but had to quit once i hit the nursing core classes. the program i was in was accelerated and i couldn't handle life. i loved my client grandma so i let her know that i was going to have to stop working so she wouldn't be surprised when i didnt show up and then i just let my agency know and they got her someone new by the next week so it was fine
