Funny enough I got laid off when there was lots of work and I was told I'm still employed and can come back whenever so. I left the best way possible haha.
The only real job I've ever quit was Walmart. So the manager was doing some seriously janky stuff and I was 90% sure I was getting crap hours because of being gay. So I convinced him I was stealing from the register, it wasn't even hard to do. When he hauled me in the office with the market manager and the cops to arrest me for stealing I made him look like a moron and demonstrated my slight of hand that I was doing the entire time. I don't think he had a job afterwards.
Explain more howd you make it look as if you were stealing? If you weren’t short at the end of the day why did they accuse you?
Have you ever seen a magician palm something? There's a technique to do the opposite of that, which makes it looks like you're putting something in your pocket when you're actually not. I made damned sure that I was completely obvious with it and would make sure he saw me put money in my pocket. At least, made sure he thought he saw me put money in my pocket.
I never actually explained how I didn't take anything. I just let the manager scream and call me a thief etc without any actual proof. He basically hung himself on that one.
