The bulb isn't coming out and it's getting seriously annoying standing on my tip toes and straining my neck upwards.

This is what the lightbulb looks like, does anyone have any idea of how to remove it?

Change a lightbulb? Why that bulb hasn’t been changed in 500 years! Why change it now?

A pair of pliers used to grip and turn the base might work, you might need vice grips(or another pair of pliers) to also grip onto the socket but with that much leverage applied its sure to come out.

Wait, never mind. Turns out you just need to push the light bulb, I was twisting without pushing. But now I'm struggling to put the new lightbulb in...

Does the metal end of the light bulb have two little notches? Like this one?

Yep, that’s a bayonet fitting. To insert a new lamp you should push it all the way in (make sure those notches line up with the slots), twist and release.

I'm not actually sure how it works in the Netherlands, @Karlijn do you even have grade levels?
In Canada 11th grade would be a "junior" one year before HS graduation so 16-17 depending when your birthday is.
