The bulb isn't coming out and it's getting seriously annoying standing on my tip toes and straining my neck upwards. This is what the lightbulb looks like, does anyone have any idea of how to remove it?
A pair of pliers used to grip and turn the base might work, you might need vice grips(or another pair of pliers) to also grip onto the socket but with that much leverage applied its sure to come out.
Wait, never mind. Turns out you just need to push the light bulb, I was twisting without pushing. But now I'm struggling to put the new lightbulb in...
Oh **** this fucking bullshit, some springs on the inside of the thing broke and now it's impossible to put any bulb inside of it. **** light bulbs, I'm buying a lamp. Jesus fucking Christ
Yep, that’s a bayonet fitting. To insert a new lamp you should push it all the way in (make sure those notches line up with the slots), twist and release.
I'm not actually sure how it works in the Netherlands, @Karlijn do you even have grade levels? In Canada 11th grade would be a "junior" one year before HS graduation so 16-17 depending when your birthday is.
17. I learnt that electrician stuff from my dad, who believes that girls should be able to repair stuff too.
The more I hear about your dad the cooler I think he is Please pass along my compliments for being a gentleman and a scholar
