Hurricane watch

I'm watching hurricane coverage right now on Irma and Jose and thinking WTF mother nature, you are one brutal bitch!
Anybody have people in the affected zones? It's looking really bad, currently Irma is a category 3 but expected to amp up before she's done with Florida, and Jose (who I'm calling fat bastard) is nearly a category 5
And I was complaining about the light rain we have today

 

There's a girl in my class who has relatives on Sint Maarten (the Dutch half of Saint Martin), and yesterday she hadn't heard from them yet

 

I hope everyones ok, it took me days to get in touch with all my Texas people after Harvey.

 

In my other forum there are several people in its path, but I haven't checked the forum yet today. Yesterday they were saying there was a potential for tornadoes but they're confident their houses will be fine since they're made with cinder blocks

 

Is it nuts that I've always wanted to visit the Caribbean during storm season?

I really love storms. I blame watching Twister over and over again as a kid for my desire to be near destruction

 

Have you ever seen a tornado irl? I have a pic somehwere that my bf took of one that was near my moms house I should find it. I don't think it ever touched down tho I can't remember

 

No I've been in the danger zone but too far out to actually see one with my own eyes, due to weather conditions

 

I think being in an actual hurricane is as much fun as being in an actual train crash.

 

I know right.. maybe I have a death wish I'm unaware of.
I also have this crazy desire to jump out of planes, I wonder what drives this
