I didn’t like the fenty foundation!!!!

how did you apply it? did you moisturize before

 

@skrinkle If you put enough dedication and passion into cooking as you do in applying make-up on your face, you would never go hungry again.

 

I used the Clinique yellow moisturizer which I aaaaalways use before makeup, and I put the foundation on at first with a flat foundation brush and then over it with a beauty blender. It looks crusty as hell so then I tried to blend it out with my urban decay optic blur brush but that didn’t help.

 

I think you just suck at applying foundation.

i have dry skin too but it never clings like that to me since i started applying it like this:

moisutize about 20 mins before putting the makeup on so my skin has time to absorb all the good stuff. then when i apply the foundation i use the fenty foundation brush. i don't usually buy into brushes, but this one really seemed to make the difference. it does a great job buffing it in so it's like ...skin...then i let the foundation dry (which doesn't take long for this one) and then spritz my face with some type of setting spray (i like mac fix +) and theeennnnnn i use a damp beauty blender to press the spray and shit in idk it always looks good. no one can ever tell i wear foundation

I even use it under my makeup instead of primer, I’ve tried primers and other lotions under makeup but they all looked shitty imo
