I have a lead foot from a cold start, I admit that. Stopped at a light, I’m generally up to speed and a block away before the guy beside me even notices the light changed. I usually only accelerate to the speed limit or 5km over too. Half a block later the fool is passing me like I’m standing still So 70-80 in a 50 zone, if not faster. Talking to people who drive, those who speed tend to label themselves as “better than average drivers” to justify speeding, but it seems to me if your reaction time when a light changes is so poor that you can’t keep up to someone who isn’t speeding for a couple blocks, you’re probably not a very good driver
I was walking across the parking lot and a car almost hit me. He didn't even notice me walking in front of him. This happened around an hour ago.
Last Friday someone almost backed up into me in a parking lot, I wasn’t going very fast, they didn’t even see me coming. Thankfully I managed to swerve out of the way safely.
I saw this lady who reversed out of a parking lot one time, who didn't even look back while doing it.
When someone in front of me is about to make a right turn and they start slowing down/don't move to the right before turning so I have to wait for their slow ass When cars parked on the street pull out super slow even though you're super close to them and then proceed to drive 15 mph under the limit (happened today and i almost lost my shit tbh cause I almost hit them. they gave me almost no time to stop) When people honk at you because they're too dumb/cant see there's a reason why you're slowing down or stopped When people ride my ass I just get pissed and start driving super slow until they try to change lanes to get in front of me. Then I speed up so they can't get in front of me. it's really funny to me when they start switching back and forth in lanes i need to grow up when people are ****s and won't let you change your lane and you miss your exit and get stuck on the 405 for another 3 hrs in traffic before hitting the next exit when people going at a slower speed than you think it's a good idea to get in the carpool lane right in front of you at a closed area of the lane there's so much. people in los angeles cant drive for shit. some lady put her car in reverse AT A RED LIGHT and drove into me
Someone turning left right in front of me when I'm about to go straight through an intersection Someone rapidly pulling out of a side street onto a main road without looking so that I almost hit them
I hate when people turn left at a major intersection without a left turn lane and signal during rush hour. Go a block further and turn right 3 times, no more traffic delay I know that’s not always possible, but if it is it saves everyone time, including the person driving a few extra blocks
I always thought only jerks drove BMWs because they seem to be the people least likely to use signals, but my boss got a BMW as a loaner and the signals on that thing required some kind of post secondary degree to figure out
Ok I don’t drive but can you sluts PLS not zoom through the crosswalk while I’m still in it Yesterday I was crossing this big road that comes off the highway and I hear a car behind me and some douche nozzle is driving through the yellow line instead of waiting for me to get out of the road
It’s illegal for a vehicle to enter an occupied crosswalk. I know in Calgary it’s a huge fine, not sure about New West. Should be an automatic suspension
Calgary was way worse for it. When I worked at market mall I would go two different ways home. If I took the bus I exited out the bay doors and crossed the road to the number 9 bus stop. That cross walk doesn’t have lights and I would literally have to step out into the road and force someone to stop for me or else I’d be waiting there for years. If I walked home I went out towards the children’s hospital and crossed where the shaganapi and 32nd cross, and so the people turning off of shaganapi onto 32nd would have a turn light at the same time as my walk light and they would always plow through and I would be standing there almost getting hit and not being able to fully cross. One time I actually had to walk back to the curb and wait for my second walk light because all the turning traffic went through without letting me cross. I fucking hate calgary drivers.
Calgary is horrible for it, I wish they’d enforce that particular law more often, if they busted every person doing it for a year they’d probably double the city budget
Never know, you could live close to a movie set - how cool would that be though, a transformer just chillin as a car and going all robot on a mission where you can see it
I've worked on a movie set before, lol. I remember seeing Selina Kyle driving a car and them doing the scene over and over again.
I hate driving on the QE2. which i have to if i want to go anywhere out of my town. speed limit is 110 but you are a legit hazard if you drive that. people do 130-140 and if your driving the actual limit people ride your ass and pass you. ill do 115-120 and still feel like im going too slow compared to everyone around me. and on a busy weekend when the highway is packed with people you have no choice but to keep up or your slowing a whole lane down with no room for people to pass you. that highway needs more patrol cause its insanley dangerous for a straight highway lol.
