Is there a way to decrease the visibility of veins in your arm?

When I was thin, I had bulging veins...so gain some weight...the fat will help mask them. :)

It is an assumption on my part (based on my own experience) that very little body fat contributes to the visibility of your veins and arteries near the skin. There is likely a genetic component as well.

I used to freak the other kids out in school by grabbing my upper arm and pumping my hand to make the arteries bulge even more. :)

Lol you’re welcome. Did you take that pic after playing basketball? Sports could cause it too

It was like an hour after gym, but that's unrelated. My arm is like this 24/7. It looks like a toddler tried drawing a tree on my forearm

I read about this guy that got this other guy to play basketball before he stabbed him to death. It was so the victim would bleed out faster, ensuring death.

If it's not due to exertion then it's mainly because of low body fat. If you're very lean, the muscles will push your veins closer to the skin and there won't be much fat to cover them up. There's a bit of a genetic component to it but basically if you want it to not look like that then yeah you'll have to gain a bit of weight.

I agree. I think the body size can change but the size of the veins won't.

I too have bulging veins on my arms.
I can even count my heart beat by watching one particular vein; I think it's neat.
