Queensborough is such a convenient little spot though, kinda central to everything other than Vancouver itself and the North Shore, pretty much everything you could ask for within a quick or reasonable commute

 

Yes exactly. That's what I've been telling my brother, but he's too scared that we're close to the water when the "big one" comes. Like how are we supposed to know where we're supposed to be that day if it even happens lol

 

I guess that’s fair, it wouldn’t take more than a few inches of sea rise to wipe out Richmond and parts of Van and New West, but that’s happening slowly enough that it shouldn’t be an issue over the next 20-30 years... if the so called “big one” hits, it won’t really matter where you live, the whole lower mainland will be a complete ruin, even the higher ground areas. Might almost be more pleasant to drown

 

I hope he just marries some rich Chinese chick and buggers off somewhere lol

Too small to find anything fun to do, cold enough in the winter that you want to die, hot enough in the summer that you want to die, mosquitoes the size of sparrows, and rednecks with guns everywhere.
