What’s your least favourite thing about “adulting” or things you need to deal with being an adult

Mine is people who know you’re having issues, and promise they’ve got your back, but deliberately disappear when you actually need help

 

Not being able to blame things on youth and immaturity and actually get away with it

 

That definitely isn’t a nice side effect. My neurologist still calls me “young man”, which makes me feel special

 

I’ve got one more solid year until I officially have to “adult” when I get ripped away from the tit. So I’ll enjoy being young and dumb for now.

 

Might have a little envy there, having to take care of everything is a pain in the ass

Not answering to anyone is nice though

 

Do you have uni next year too? We could be graduating at the same time

I hate paying my bills

not being ignorant or naive anymore to the ways of life.
was life not so simple when parents had control? except we spend our whole youth wanting to grow up then finally growing up and being like **** dis sucks

 

It seems so complicated as a kid, you get what you need, but what you want is often less available, then you get to adulthood and same shit - you have to put your needs ahead of what you want, and all of a sudden what your parents were doing makes more sense, and it still sucks. Understanding doesn’t make it more fun

 

Having to fix other people’s problems

Cooking for yourself

 

I like cooking, although I like cooking for other people more than for myself

 

It's the worst.

 

Finding time to enjoy life.
