Even though I'm a girl, I had an Internet romance with another girl. Is that gay? Because I'm not gay, lol.
Man, was she hot. She sent me this picture, oh man, she wears spaghetti straps really, really well, lol. No homo.
I've only been in long distance relationships, none of them turned out to be that interesting. I don't really get attracted to people in my city or in person anywhere.
I do this weird thing where I don't make eye contact w/ anyone in the City, so it is impossible for me to fall or meet anyone, whereas online I can actually 'look' at people so the possibility to fall is there. I also find it is more about speaking w/ each other and less about sex, cuddling and kissing, which is good since I enjoy speaking about sex, cuddling and kissing more than the activities themselves. But the relationships never work because it is always about meeting 'in person' and usually when I meet them I don't find them attractive anymore, I guess they are only beautiful through the screen.
I tried when I was younger, but I was definitely too young to be able to dedicate the resource needed to make it work. You need so much patience and a lot of self confidence to make it happen. That being said when I did have my long distance boyfriend visit we had the best time. The connection I had with him hasn’t ever been replicated by anyone else.
We do on and off. Obviously we’ve both had relationships since and when we aren’t single we don’t talk as it’s just hard on eachother and makes for guilt in the current relationships. But I know if I ever needed him he would be there
There was this one guy that was suicidal and laid his problems out onto the site and there was this girl that talk to him about it for a long time. They eventually got married, lol. It was a nice story to see play out over years and years, lol.
Depends on the people. My cousin married her boyfriend last year after 6 years of flying back and forth between Ontario and Italy a few times per year to be together after meeting on an exchange to England. I know others who can barely manage long distance Monday-Friday.
