There is so many different brands of chocolate hazelnut spreads, some very well known and some not known at all. A while ago I came across one called MAJOR GOURMET CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT SPREAD. Its apparently is made in Germany for a Canadian company , MEILLEURES MARQUES , in Quebec Canada. The spread was a light brown regular milk chocolate colour, but on camera it showed a much darker brown shade for some reason. It smelled a lot like the most well known major brand of chocolate hazelnut spread ( NUTELLA ) . MAJOR GOURMET CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT SPREAD has a strong hazelnut flavour to it, its very sweet . In terms of texture its smooth but not thick and creamy at all. It does have a good milk chocolate flavour to it as well and in no way does it taste anything like NUTELLA at all.
And just like any other hazelbut spread it probably contains waaaaay too much sugar Edit: yes, I mistyped hazelnut, but hazelbut sounds much cooler anyway
The too sweet thing sounds about right I’m partial to Nutella, it’s not as sweet - it’s amazing how chocolaty they make what’s basically sweetened hazelnut butter with very little chocolate
I love nutella !!! I dont know why but to me it seems like all the non nutella chocolate hazelnut spreads are identical to each other in terms of flavour and semi runny consistency, and they are not at all anything like nutella . Does anyone else agree with me ?
I actually haven’t tried others, but Nutella is pretty delicious, so I just buy that when I’m craving
I hate Nutella, it's the only food that gives me heartburn And I don't even think it's that good, just sickly sweet.
