And now I really want one but I’ve never had them outside of Calgary before. Does anyone know where to get some in Van??

Pretty sure anything you can get in calgary you can find in Vancouver. The reverse isn’t always true.

I’ve found sushi, viet and donairs that are close to the best places I found there, but just close, I miss lower mainland food choices haha

Really?? I guess I still need to explore restaurants because I feel opposite, especially about Vietnamese subs. There’s a place in calgary called Saigon Star across from the foothills hospital, by far the best Vietnamese subs and vermicelli I’ve ever had. I rly miss them.

If you enjoy Pho or Donairs, there’s a little mini mall just across the Port Mann in Surrey, Pho Tau Bay - never tried their subs, but best Pho and Spring Rolls ever

Next door there’s a donair/shwarma place that’s to die for. Donair Affair. When I first moved to Van I lived in the ghetto complex right next to there, but I went on a viet binge and tried 2-3 different restaurants a week for a year, nothing else came close.

Actually, might be easier via the shitty bridge from New West to Surrey, just stay on the road up the hill and turn left at the top of the hill in Whalley, down toward Guildford. 144th Street and 108 Ave I believe (been a while)
