If you guys are moving into a new apartment and the month that you plan to move in on has already been paid by the previous tenant would you offer them some money to vacate early would you just ask them to vacate early so you could move in

That would depend on how badly I needed to move/if I was ready to go or not, if yes to both and I had the spare cash I probably would yeah

My argument is basically, if you don't want to pay for a place that you don't consider yourself technically living in during that period, why are you asking me to do it?

I find these arguments strange because I don't really believe in money or value.

I find that strange. I would only ask the landlord, I would never approach the current tenant because that’s creepy imo. Idk.

I would suggest asking them to vacate early without offering them money. It's not your responsibility to compensate them for a decision they didn't make. However, if you're keen on moving in early and are willing to pay a little extra, you could always offer them a small sum as a gesture of goodwill. Ultimately, it's up to you and your landlord to decide what's best for everyone involved. By the way, if you need any help with financing your move, you should consider reaching out to a Mortgage Advice Cardiff service to get some expert advice. Good luck with your move!
