For the third time this year, she got away from Mr Wrecky at the dog park and decided to walk home by herself. It's about 4 blocks from our house to the park, and more like 6 from the end she was at when she disappeared, and she had to cross a really busy street. :iik:
I was just about to go help look for her when I opened the front door and she ran inside.
She is in so much trouble :cussing::cussing:

I have no idea WTF her problem is. Aside from today and the 2 other times she's done this, she's always been really well behaved off leash. I'm so scared that she'll get hit by a car if she does it again

Lol I wouldn't put it past my dog to get on a bus if she thought she had somewhere to go.
She's very clever, this year she learned how to open the sliding glass door to the patios so she can go out in the yard whenever she wants.

Cute! This thread needs pics. When I was a kid we had a cat that could open screen doors, and she kept opening our neighbours door and eating their cats food :hungry:

Yeah fat pants figured out the screen first, so I started keeping the doors shut if I wasn't in the room. I was so surprised the first time she opened the actual door, I thought someone had broken into the house while I was in the shower :imslow:
I think she'll probably figure out the fridge next.

Maybe she just wants to be with you instead of with her dad

That's actually a good point. All 3 times she's walked herself home from the park, I was at home. I always thought she liked Mr Wrecky better but maybe I was wrong
